ウクライナ出身。留学をきっかけに来日し、日本の大学院を修了後、京都を拠点に活動しております。
歴史や伝統文化が息づく京都の街並みに魅了され、この地を第二の故郷として選びました。茶道や着物、日本庭園をはじめとする日本文化への深い関心を活かし、京都・大阪・奈良など関西各地をご案内しております。
有名な観光名所はもちろん、地元の人々に愛されるお店や路地裏の風景など、その土地ならではの魅力をご紹介することを大切にしています。
私が目指すのは、単に観光地をご案内するだけではなく、その場所が持つ歴史や文化的背景、人々の暮らしに触れていただくことです。お客様一人ひとりのご興味やご要望に寄り添いながら、日本の魅力をより深く感じていただける体験をご提供いたします。

Hello! I’m Roksolana, a tour guide and interpreter based in Kyoto and serving the Kansai region.
Originally from Ukraine, I came to Japan for my studies and later earned my Master’s degree here. What began as an academic journey soon became something more – I fell in love with Kyoto, and through it, Japan. Captivated by its timeless atmosphere, rich cultural heritage, and deep-rooted traditions, I chose to make this city my home.
I enjoy sharing both Japan’s iconic landmarks and its hidden gems, from historic temples and beautiful gardens to local shops, cafés, and bars. My particular interests include Japanese tea ceremony, kimono culture, history, and the stories that bring Japan’s traditions to life.
Combining Japanese hospitality with Ukrainian warmth and friendliness, I strive to create authentic and memorable experiences for my guests. For me, guiding is not simply about showing destinations – it is about helping people understand why these places matter, uncovering the stories behind them, and perhaps even inspiring them to fall in love with Japan the way I did.

Amazing and truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The traditional green tea ceremony, led by the tea master, was both gracious and deeply educational. ツアーガイドのラーナさんは、とても知識が豊富で親しみやすく、愛宕念仏寺や竹林について詳しく教えてくれました。途中、素晴らしいせんべい店にも連れて行ってくれました。猛暑にもかかわらず、彼女はとてもフレンドリーで前向きな態度でした！迷わずまた予約したいと思います。
Super Informative and enjoyable tour
Our tour guide, Lana, was super informative and friendly and really educated us about Otagi Temple and the Bamboo Forest. She even took us to a rice cracker store along the way that was amazing. She was very friendly and positive despite the oppressive heat! I would not hesitate to book again.
